While Bristol also offers all the shopping you'd expect from a large city, there's plenty to choose from right on the doorstep of the Priory Walk development. Portishead has larger chain stores and supermarkets such as Homebase, Sainsbury's and Waitrose, but the town's Victorian high street has retained its character and identity, with many independent local retailers continuing to thrive.
