Consumer Code for Home Builders

Charles Church is proud to adopt the industry standards of good practice, procedures and information.

Launched on 1 April 2010, the Consumer Code sets out to safeguard new home buyers and ensure that they are treated fairly, know what service levels to expect, are given reliable information upon which to make their decisions and know how to access speedy, low-cost dispute resolution arrangements if they are dissatisfied.

The Consumer Code sets requirements that all home builders must meet. The National House- Builders Council and other Home Warranty bodies have agreed that all of their registered builders must adopt and comply with the Code as a condition of their registration.
