These new houses for sale in Staffordshire are situated in Rugeley, a market town since the 13th century which offers a good range of local shops, pubs, restaurants and other amenities.The Hollies is located on the Rugeley Road and Is ideally placed for commuting, it offers easy access to Lichfield, Stafford the M6 and the M6 Toll road.

There is also a good choice of local primary and secondary schools in Rugeley, and Abbot's Bromley School for Girls is just a short drive away.

The major roads surrounding Rugeley are the A460 from Cannock, and the A51 Lichfield to Stone. A new eastern bypass is now open and takes the through traffic out of the town centre.

Cannock Chase, a designated area of outstanding natural beauty, is right on the doorstep and offers twenty six square miles of varied landscape and a whole host of wildlife to discover, which includes herds of fallow, red and muntjac deer.

The Trent and Mersey Canal, which dates back to 1777 and goes all the way up to the river Mersey, as its name would suggest, is just on the other side of Armitage Road. The Canal, in additional to narrow boating offers a range of other leisure activities.

What's more, there are also two main railway stations nearby. The first is Rugeley Town, which serves the local network with a regular service to Stafford and Birmingham New Street, and the other is Trent Valley which is on the West Coast main line.
