Banstead is a small town situated in the rolling countryside of the North Downs in surrey.
Banstead town offers more than 100 shops along one long high street, including popular restaurants, a supermarket and many other intersting stores.
The area is spoilt for choice for education with Banstead Infant School boasting an Ofsted class of "outstanding" and The Beacon School, the predominant secondary school in the area. Further education can be found in the nearby towns of Epsom, Sutton and Reigate.
Banstead has a number of churches, including All Saints Church and Banstead Baptist Church, which are both located on the high street. The parish church of All Saints was constructed at the end of the 12th Century on land donatde by the Lord of the Manor, Nigel de Mowbray.
A more diverse range of amenities can be found a short drive away in Kingston-upon-Thames which offers a large shopping cnetre, a cinema and an array of restaurants, pubs and clubs. Central London is easily accessed just 16 miles away.
Banstead is dieally situated with dirct access to the motorway network with the A217 leading to the M25. The town is also well served by regular buses to Sutton, Redhill, Croydon and Epsom and Sutton railway station offers direct services to the surrounding towns and London Victoria in less than 30 minutes. Both Heathrow and Gatwick Airports are in close proximity.
