The Lanes Shopping Centre is just 2.5 miles away which is filled with many big name brands. Just 10 miles north is Gretna Green - the gateway to Scotland - where you will find Gretna Gateway Retail Outlet which offers a vast choice of shops.

There are plenty of schools in the area, including the Ofsted-rated 'Good' Morton Park Primary School school, Caldew Lea School, Newlaithes Infants School and St Michael's Corfe Primary school.

Transport
