Keen golfers among you will be relieved to know that the old golf course on which The Links is built has been superseded by further excellent golfing facilities close by. Wigan Golf Club is a delightful, yet challenging, 18-hole parkland course only 1.7 miles away, and Gathurst Golf Club, which boasts panoramic views at almost every hole, is just 3.4 miles.

From the M6 North, exit at Junction 27 and take the A5209 towards Parbold/Standish/Chorley. Take the third exit on the motorway on to Crow Orchard Road, turn left on to Shevington Lane, Left on to School Lane, Right on to High Street and left on to Market Street. Follow this road on to Rectory Lane.
There are two train stations in Wigan town centre, making travel to Manchester, Liverpool and London very accessible. Buses run regularly from the main road into the town centre. And with the M6 only a few minute’s drive away, the development is ideally situated for commuters.
For travel further afield, Liverpool John Lennon Airport (33.3 miles) and Manchester Airport (28.7 miles) are both reachable by car within the hour.
