St James Park Location map

Bramley is a village and parish in Hampshire located ten miles south of Reading, and five miles north of Basingstoke. This central location provides great transportation links to all the conveniences of urban living without the daily hustle and bustle.

The Church of St James stands at the west of the village and originally dates from 1160, however it features many historical alterations and additions up to the 20th Century. It is a Grade I listed building. The famous physicist Lise Meitner is buried in the burial ground next to the church, near the grave of her brother Walter.

Directions

From the M3 Junction 6, take the Ringway E/A339 and A340 to Morgaston Road in Sherborne Saint John. Turn right onto Morgaston Road and drive for around 4 minutes (1.5 miles). Continue on Vyne Rd to Bramley for 3 minutes (1.4 miles). Turn left onto Minchens Lane and the development will be on the right.

From the M4, take A33 to New Street in Hampshire, 9 minutes (6.0 miles). Follow New Street and Fair Oak Lane to Stratfield Saye Road for 4 minutes (1.9 miles). Continue onto Stratfield Saye Road for 1 minute (0.7 miles). Finally, drive to Minchens Lane.

Bramley has a village shop and bakery in the village with a farm shop a short drive away. It is served with a pub, the Bramley Inn and an estate agency.

For serious shopping, Festival Place in Basingstoke is just 5 miles away with over 200 shops including Zara, BHS, Debenhams, Marks and Spencer and Apple Store

Bramley train station is only 0.4 miles from the development with direct routes to Basingstoke reached in under 10 minutes and Reading in 17 minutes. Trains to London run frequently and take approximately 1 hour from Basingstoke and approximately half an hour from Reading.

St James Park is ideally located for access to both the M3 and M4. The M3 is 7.3 miles away and the M4 only 10 miles making the south, south west, Wales and London within easy reach.
