Transport

When it comes to transport links, it’s hard to beat Southampton. The city’s national and international travel links by road, rail, sea and air are pretty impressive by anyone’s standards.  

Southampton Central train station is just a short walk away from Banister Court (approximately 1.3 miles). Here you can make use of the regular services running to surrounding towns and cities, including a direct line to London Waterloo.

The M3 motorway link can be found from The Avenue (just to the south of Banister Court); this then connects you easily to the M27 and A34 for routes northwards and into London. The A36 connects you to the West Country, Bristol and Wales.

For travel further afield, Southampton International Airport serves a wide range of UK and Europe destinations, with onward connections worldwide. The airport is located on the outskirts of the city and within easy access from the M27 and M3. It’s also served by Southampton Airport Parkway railway station reached from the nearby Southampton Central Station.
