Kingsbury Gardens is our new exclusive development of four and five bedroom homes, nestled in the heart of St Albans, Hertfordshire. In a prime location, these beautifully-designed properties will make perfect family homes.
The cathedral city of St Albans combines a rich Roman heritage with an abundance of well-kept green parks, top-notch leisure facilities and fabulous shopping. A much sought-after place to live, it’s situated approximately 20 miles north of London and is just a 20-minute train journey from London St Pancras. Easily accessible from the M1 and M25 motorways, and within easy travel distance of London Luton, Heathrow and Gatwick airports, it’s ideal for commuters.
Situated just to the east of the city centre, Kingsbury Gardens offers a stunning selection of family homes in an ideal location. The development will form part of a wider planning permission which includes the re-provision of playing fields and an extension to Beaumont School. The development enjoys excellent road links to both the A1057, A1081 and A414 as well as being close to St Alban’s train stations.
St Albans is renowned as being a fantastic place to shop. High street stores, independent boutiques, food outlets, a theatre and local services including banks and a library can all be found in The Maltings Shopping Centre, just 2 miles from your doorstep. There’s also a weekly market, dating as far back as the 9th century. Today, the market takes over St Peters Street every Wednesday and Saturday, offering an array of colourful stalls.
St Albans offers a host of activities to keep the entire family entertained. There are two new leisure centres a couple of miles from the development; Cotlandswick and Batchwood Golf and Leisure Centre, both offering a range of activities including a fitness suite, workout classes, outdoor pitches, children’s softplay and a café. For those who fancy doing something a little less active and a little more arty, why not go and take in a film at the cinema or watch a play or a concert at the Albans Arena.
There’s also a variety of festivals and markets held throughout the year, including the Albantide festival, the food and drink festival and the Christmas Market, which is held in the grounds of the cathedral.
Families with children will be pleased to know that the local primary and secondary schools are Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’. All this together with the sought-after location, great transport links and the quality of life this historic city can offer, means Kingsbury Gardens is an ideal place to call home.
