Durham Train Station has mainline services operated by London North Eastern Railway, TransPennine and CrossCountry, with connections the length and breadth of the country, from Edinburgh to Plymouth! You can hop on a bus and be in Durham in no time, with services running every 30 minutes.
Going to school
Sherburn has its own primary school which is a great asset for local families. Belmont Community School takes 11 – 16-year-old pupils and among other options for state secondary education are Durham Trinity School & Sports College and Durham Johnston School.
