Moorfield is now sold out.
Please take a look at our coming soon sites in the nearby area Lyons Meadow and St Michaels Way.
Our Moorfield development at Easington is close to the Durham Heritage coastline and has excellent road links for commuters. This is a town with a mining heritage, though times have changed and there's a different community to become a part of when you move into a new home here. Easington is a popular base for families, with easy access to the main towns and cities of the North East as well as to the North Coast, the Durham Dales and the North Pennines.
Easington is halfway between Sunderland and Hartlepool. You'll be close to the A19, an excellent route up to Tyneside and down to Stockton-on-Tees and Middlesbrough. The A1(M) isn't far either, Junction 62 just outside the historic city of Durham is less than 10 miles away. Moving to Moorfield is a great opportunity to enjoy the benefits of a small town setting with the bright lights of the North East's larger cities to make the most of too.

0191 917 0592Dating back to the 13th Century, much of Easington village is of archaeological interest and has been designated as a conservation area since 1974. With a village green and 12th Century church, the village is in a rural location, yet only 10 miles from the beautiful city of Durham.
The Durham Heritage Coastline and 11 mile Coastal Path are a short distance away and are ideal for rugged hikes, unspoilt beaches and the bracing North Sea air. Less than 2 miles from the development is the Hawthorn Dene Nature Reserve, an area of woodland that's a great place for a walk whatever the time of year.
There's a choice of schooling for all ages close to the Moorfield development. Just a few minutes from the development is the Rosemary Lane Pre-School, Easington Village Church of England Primary School and the Easington Academy. There are also two further primary schools in the village.
Set on the northern outskirts of the village, the Moorfield development is near to green open spaces as well as being within walking distance of the local amenities. There's a variety of village shops, as well as a Post Office, newsagent and a pub.
The nearby town of Peterlee is approximately 3 miles south of Easington Village and Seaham is approximately 4 miles north. Both towns offer additional entertainment and shopping opportunities, including Byron Place Shopping Centre, Dalton Park Outlet and Castle Dene Shopping Centre, as well as a choice of larger supermarkets. Slightly further afield, you'll find even more shopping and a host of entertainment options in the city of Durham.
