Lincolnshire is very much a rural county, so it’s reassuring to know that it’s well-connected by road and rail. LNER and Northern train services from Lincoln Central get you to Nottingham in an hour, Sheffield in an hour and a half, and London Kings Cross in two hours. You can join the A1 at Newark on Trent or Markham Moor, and the M1 at Nottingham, while the A46 takes you straight down to Leicester.
