You'll find a Tesco Express and Co-op Food in Bessacarr, within walking distance of Warren Park. For all other shopping, Doncaster is hard to beat. The bustling town hosts Doncaster Market, the biggest traditional market in the north and winner of the BBC Food and Farming Awards Best Food Market 2015. The market is open three days a week and is accompanied by an antiques, second-hand and farmers' market three times a month. There are also several local shopping centres, including the Frenchgate Centre and Lakeside Village, along with a selection of high street and independent stores.

Bessacarr is a great location for young families, with Bessacarr Primary School and Willow Primary School conveniently close to Warren Park. For secondary school pupils, McAuley Catholic High School, Hayfield School and Rossington All Saints Academy are close-by, while older students can attend Doncaster College and University Centre.
