For essential shopping you'll find freshly baked goods, meat, fruit and vegetables at the community run store in Strood Green, a few minutes' walk from the development. A wider range of village services including a butcher and pharmacy can be found just up the road in Brockham, while Dorking and Reigate offer a wide range of supermarkets, high street brands and independent shops and boutiques.
There are plenty of lovely walks around Brockham, and the breathtaking Surrey Hills and Box Hill National Trust site are a short drive away. Leith Hill Tower, the highest point in southeast England, can be reached in less than half an hour, while Denbie's Wine Estate, Bocketts Farm Park, Deepdene Trail and Bletchworth Castle are also within easy reach.
Closer to home you'll find several sports and recreation grounds, and there are lots of opportunities to catch up on culture in Dorking, Guildford, Hampton Court Palace and RHS Wisley.
