Other great days out around the town include Hemsworth Water Park & Playworld, Diggerland and The National Coal Mining Museum. For the keen golfers amongst you will be pleased to know that Normanton Golf Club and Low Laithes Golf Course are not too far away.
Wakefield gives you easy access to the open spaces and landscape of the Yorkshire countryside.
