Cheddington children decorate housebuilder’s Christmas tree

Local children helped to spread some festive cheer at a new homes development in Cheddington by decorating a Christmas tree on the site.

Charles Church Homes invited students from Cheddington Combined School to ‘bring a bauble’ to put on the Christmas tree at its Orchard Manor development in the village.

Saffron Pughe, from Cheddington Combined School, said: “The children were thrilled to help decorate the tree for Charles Church. It was a lovely way for them to see how they could be part of the community.”

Claire Dearsley, sales director at Charles Church Midlands, added: “Our Christmas tree decoration event at Orchard Manor was the perfect way to kick off the holiday season.

“The event was a lovely opportunity to bring together local people and bring some Christmas joy to the community.

“Orchard Manor is quickly establishing itself as a neighbourhood and we look forward to welcoming even more new residents in the coming months.”

The development, on Mentmore Road, is planned to deliver a selection of three, four and five bedroom homes to suit a range of buyers.
