When a sales advisor working for Charles Church South West speaks to customers she certainly knows what she is talking about after having just bought one of their homes herself.
Lena Wilding, 19, had a double celebration when she not only became a fully-trained sales executive, but picked up the keys to her first home built Charles Church.
Lena has moved out of her parents’ home and into the house of her dreams at Great Woodcote Park along with her partner.
She said: “We both quickly fell in love with the development as it is just the right location for us. As for the house, as I work in the business, I knew exactly what I wanted and our home ticked all the right boxes, with large bedrooms, a kitchen/diner and a south-facing garden. We recently moved in and we absolutely love it; it really feels like home.”
Great Woodcote Park, off Topsham Road, is one of our premier South West developments currently offering a range of four and five-bedroom homes. Eight of the homes have gardens that adjoin the famous Exeter Golf and Country Club.
Lena started working for Charles Church last year as a trainee sales executive. She left St Margaret’s School, in Exeter, with three ‘A’ Levels, but decided that university life was not for her.
"Charles Church approached pupils in the sixth form offering them a potential career in the building industry. At the time university didn't interest me and I couldn't justify spending the money on something I wasn't a 100% committed to. I went for the interview and I've not looked back,” she added.
“When I look at my friends at university we have completely different lives now. I have my own money, and run a car and have bought my first home; I am a lot more grown up and independent. This is the right path for me as I love my job, I am a people person and each day is always different, which is great.”
Nina Hester, sales and marketing director for Charles Church South West, said: “What better endorsement is there for our homes than when one of our employees moves into one. Lena is a confident, successful sales executive and has a bright future ahead of her. It is wonderful to hear how happy she is in her new home.”
