Setting the standard for Cheddington homes

A newly-appointed site manager has outlined his commitment to quality and customer service at a Cheddington new homes development.

Ashley Everitt recently took over management of the Orchard Manor development and has quickly established the standards he expects to see from all contractors.

“My priority is to ensure Orchard Manor delivers high quality houses for our customers,” he said. “I take great pride in my work and, for me, the most important thing is handing over perfect plots for every buyer.

“Cheddington is a lovely village, and our development offers beautiful family homes. With such a great location and our dedicated Charles Church Midlands team, I am confident we will hit the highest standards in all aspects of the construction and presentation of the site.”

The 30-year-old from Milton Keynes joined the company two years ago as an assistant site manager on the Phoenix Park development in Dunstable, operated by sister brand Persimmon Homes. The proud holder of an NVQ Level 6 Diploma in Site Management accredited by NHBC, his attention to detail and commitment to meeting stringent health and safety standards, quickly saw him promoted to site manager.

At Orchard Manor, Ashley plays a key role, co-ordinating the activities of all construction staff and ensuring the build programme runs to schedule.

“I started out as a carpenter and worked on site myself for many years,” he added. “That experience helps me to understand precisely what is required in terms of site presentation, health and safety and the inspection process to ensure consistent build quality.

“An important part of my job is liaising with customers, making sure they are kept informed on build progress and that their new property is everything they have dreamed of. I am really looking forward to handing over the keys to some ideal new homes.”

Orchard Manor is a collection of three, four and five bedroom homes, priced from £429,995, in the heart of the popular commuter village of Cheddington, Buckinghamshire.
