Purton is a few miles outside Swindon, a few miles away from the M4 and not far from the glorious Cotswolds. Purton is just 4 miles northwest of Swindon town centre, so it’s a very easy commute as well as for a larger range of facilities. Cricklade and Royal Wootton Bassett are around 4 miles away, and Cirencester is 12 miles away. Junction 16 of the M4 is 3 miles away, giving you an excellent route to Bristol or to Reading and London. Swindon is the nearest mainline train station for Great Western Rail services. Bristol Airport is about 50 miles away and there’s a good route, avoiding the city centre. Bus services to and from Swindon, connect Purton with the wider area.

Swindon has cinemas, leisure centres, the Greenbridge Retail & Leisure Centre, a Designer Outlet, and an Arts Centre. In addition to the town’s parks, you’ve got the Moulden Hill Country Park, Lydiard Park, and the Shaw Forest Park close by.
