There's a great selection of shops in the local area, including a high proportion of independent retailers and charity stores.Along Stratford Road is a choice restaurants and other eateries; many with outside dining. You'll also find a mix of supermarkets close by including Tesco, Sainsbury's, Morrisons and Aldi.
The 'New Heart for Shirley' was opened in May 2015 and boasts a great selection of well-loved brands. To the south of the high street there are a further two retail parks; here you'll find an Argos,Boots, Currys and DIY stores and Homebase and electrical store Currys.
