The village has a secondary school and a sixth form college, known together as The Weald School which is rated Ofsted ‘Outstanding’. There’s also a selection of Ofsted ‘Good’ primary schools in Billingshurst along with excellent nursery schools. The wider area of West Sussex also offers some of the finest public and independent schools in the UK.

The Weald School is also the location of the town’s leisure centre which boasts a swimming pool, well-equipped gym and a range of fitness classes. Living at Amblehurst Green, you‘ll be able to enjoy its leafy Sussex village location, but also have easy access to Billingshurst train station, the M23 and Gatwick Airport.

The village’s main-line train service provides fast connections to Horsham in less than 10 minutes, a direct line to London Victoria in just over one hour and also links to the south coast.

Road connections are good too, with the A264 linking to the M23 just 13 miles away, which in turn, provides convenient access to the M25 and Gatwick Airport. There are also good local bus services serving the village connecting Horsham and the surrounding villages.
