Once you’ve reserved your home, it’s time to instruct a conveyancer – a specialist property lawyer who handles the legal and financial side of your purchase. Your sales executive can recommend a trusted local independent company if you need help finding one or you can find out more about the legal process of buying a home.

We're here to make arranging your mortgage as simple as possible. We can recommend free and independent mortgage brokers, who can guide you through the process and help find the best deal for you. Or you can explore different mortgage options.

If you have a home to sell, we're here to make the process simple and stress-free. Give your sales adviser the details of your selling agent or estate agent and they’ll keep track of your sale every week to ensure everything stays on track. Or explore our Part Exchange scheme for an even easier way to move into your new home without the hassle of selling.

This is the point when we’re both legally bound to the sale and purchase of your new home. Your conveyancer will:

• Ensure all legal checks and property searches are complete
• Confirm your mortgage is in place (if applicable)
• Arrange for you to sign the contract and pay your deposit

Once contracts are exchanged, a completion date will be set. On that day, your conveyancer will arrange the transfer of funds, and just like that – your new home will officially be yours.

Before your completion date, you’ll be invited to a New Home Demonstration where we’ll show you how everything works. Around 9 days before completion, you’ll also have a Pre-Completion Inspection with your site manager to check over your new home. We’ll send your invitation six weeks before completion.

The big day is finally here! Your sales executive will confirm that the completion funds have been received before arranging a time for you to collect your keys – such an exciting moment. Then, it’s time to step inside, take a deep breath, and start making it truly yours. Welcome home!
