Your first few days in your new Charles Church home

The moment you move in, our friendly site management team will be on hand to answer any questions and make sure everything’s running smoothly. Don’t hesitate to ask – they’re happy to help. And just in case of an emergency outside of regular hours, you can reach them anytime at 03330 156620.

• Start with essentials. Unpack your ‘day one’ box first. This should have everything you need immediately, like toiletries, chargers, kitchenware and a change of clothes.
• Use your labels. Check your labels and put each box in the correct room before you start opening them.
• Tackle one room at a time. Focus on essential spaces first, like the kitchen and bedrooms. Getting these set up will make your new place feel functional and cosy right away.
• Get the bed ready early. Moving is exhausting. Set up your bed as soon as possible so you have a comfy place to crash after a long day.
• Pace yourself. It’s easy to get caught up in the process, but remember to rest, eat and hydrate. Unpacking is a marathon, not a sprint!
• Make it feel like home. Light a candle, put on your favourite music or hang a few personal touches early on to start feeling settled.

Around day five, our site management team will give you a call to arrange a time to check in on you in your new home, just to answer any questions and go over any little issues you may have noticed. We know you’re still settling in, so we’re happy to schedule this visit anytime between day seven and day 28, whatever works best for you.

After the first couple of months, once our site team has helped with any initial queries, our friendly customer care team will take over to support you for the rest of your two-year warranty. You’ll also be introduced to your dedicated customer care coordinator, who will be just a call away whenever you need them.

Got any questions? No problem. You can stop by the marketing suite between 5-6pm on Mondays and your site manager will be happy to chat and help with anything you need.
