Perth and Kinross

Looking for a new home in Perth & Kinross?

The county of Perth and Kinross has its foot in the Scottish Highlands, with a taste of mountains, lochs and forests. There’s an adventure to be had with a new home here.

The dramatic landscapes of the Cairngorms and the Trossochs National Parks, and the waters of Loch Tay, Loch Rannock, Loch Ericht and Loch Leven, define the countryside in and around the county. The lie of the land makes it easy to get off the beaten track, especially with Scotland’s open-minded Right to Roam. In terms of population, Perth takes the lead, but with Edinburgh to the south and Dundee to the east, there’s a busy economy at work in the southeast of the county. The main cross-country routes converge on Perth, the historic county town. Kinross isn’t second best though. On the edge of Loch Leven – the largest loch in the Scottish Lowlands - it’s a really popular place to live.

The main cross-country routes link with the motorway and rail network around Edinburgh, via the Firth of Forth’s bridges, while the A9 takes a determined route north from Perth to Inverness via Aviemore.
