Residents of Evesham benefit from great access to nearby centres of industry and commerce. Junctions 6, 7, 8 and 9 of the M5 can all be reached within a half hour drive from the town centre, with this route most prominently serving Birmingham and the South West. Evesham Train station offers routes to London in less than two hours (stopping off in Oxford and Reading), while regular bus services operate on a frequent basis. The nearest airport to the town is Birmingham International, just over 35 miles away.

Throughout the year Evesham is home to a number of festivals for all the family to enjoy, including the Evesham River festival, Asparafest and a hot air balloon event, all attracting flocks of tourists from around the country. 


Evesham town follows a traditional three-tier education model, adopted by Wychavon Council. Within the town there is an array of high-standard educational facilities catering for all ages and abilities. To complement this, Evesham provides easy access to the universities of neighbouring cities Cheltenham and Birmingham.
