How does Home Change work?
Home Change takes the stress out of selling your home in three simple steps.
Step 1: We agree a fair marketing price for your home
- We’ll organise a minimum of two independent valuations for the property you’re selling – at no cost to you – then discuss these with you to agree a fair, realistic marketing price
- Once this is agreed, you can part-reserve* your perfect Charles Church home for an agreed period, while we market your home on your behalf
*We can’t accept a full reservation until your current property is sold subject to contract. Until that happens, the Charles Church property may still be marketed.
Step 2: Charles Church finds a buyer for your home
- We’ll use our wealth of experience, expertise and contacts to find a buyer for your home
- We’ll appoint an estate agent to look after the marketing of your current home and arrange viewings – at no cost to you
- We’ll pass on feedback from these viewings and make sure you stay firmly in the loop throughout
Step 3: We manage the sale of your property on your behalf
- Once you receive a suitable offer, we’ll continue to carefully manage the sale of your property on your behalf, giving you regular updates so you know exactly what’s going on at every step
- Once your old home is sold, you can look forward to moving into your new Charles Church home – knowing you’ve avoided the hassle, headaches and costs of selling.**

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I move into my new home while my current property is being sold?
No, with Home Change you can’t move into your new home until your old one has been sold. If you need to move more quickly, Part Exchange may be a good solution as this involves Charles Church actually buying the property from you, which frees you up to move earlier.
Is Home Change available on all homes?
Home Change is available on selected Charles Church plots. You’ll be able to see if it’s available when you browse properties on this website, or you can ask any of our sales executives.
Am I eligible for Home Change?
You can take part in the Home Change scheme if you’re an existing homeowner looking to buy a qualifying Charles Church property.
Is Home Change the same as Part Exchange?
Home Change and Part Exchange both offer you a hassle-free way to sell your current home, but the way it works is slightly different. With Home Change, we manage the sale of your property, but you own it until it’s sold. With Part Exchange, Charles Church actually buys your home off you and we then sell it on.
