It’s a self-contained and atmospheric county town with history and heritage, arts and culture, cafés and restaurants, ancient buildings and green space, all working together to make an excellent all-round, family-friendly environment. A new home here is within commuting distance of London, St Albans, Hatfield, Welwyn Garden City, Stevenage and Harlow, and it’s a lovely place to come home to.
