Keynsham
Keynsham seems to have it all. It’s an old market town with a contemporary twist and a great atmosphere. It’s in a key position between Bristol and Bath, on a key road linking these two famous cities and is an ideal place to bring up a family, travel to work from or retire to. A new home here will have excellent local amenities, very easy access to city life, and lovely riverside and country walks without having to get in the car.
City life and work apart, though the transport networks here are excellent, this is a good spot for getting into the countryside of North Somerset and up into the Mendip Hills to the south, or north into Wiltshire and the Cotswolds. With so much to do in Bristol and Bath you may not want to head further away, but it's great to know that there is some lovely countryside within such easy reach of your new home.

On the doorstep
This is a family-friendly town with excellent shops and services. It’s always good to shop local but for back-up Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Waitrose are in town. There’s a thriving café culture here too, with great places to meet up with friends. The Memorial Park is a lovely green space, quite apart from the events that it hosts each year, including the Festival of Music. The River Chew and the River Avon are ideal for peaceful riverside walks, and there’s a cycle path to Bath.
