A smooth and stress-free buying journey at Mulberry Place
Sam and Beth chose a new home at Mulberry Place in Tewkesbury after being attracted by the modern layouts, high quality finishes and the stress-free option to Part Exchange.
Hi, we're Sam and Beth.
We had been living together in Sam’s flat for the last few years whilst Beth was completing her PhD studies. Once Beth had started a new job we decided to look for a home to buy together.
Initially we weren't looking at new builds, but after realising what we wanted in a house, such as an open plan kitchen/diner, we found that a new build could offer us that without any further work.
We were also attracted by the Part Exchange scheme as it was a lot less stressful and we could be moved and have an outside space in time for the summer. We ended up choosing Charles Church because of the high-quality finishes and integrated appliances.

We first came and looked at the Mulberry Place development in April as it seemed to be in a good location for us and we would have Beth’s parents close by.
Beth grew up in Gloucestershire and we are both able to work from home, so aren't tied to a workplace. We immediately loved the Hasting house type, as it gave us all the space we needed for now and the foreseeable. It meant we could both have a home office and not need to work from the kitchen table anymore!
From first visiting the development in April, we were moved in by the end of June.
The whole process was very quick thanks to the Part Exchange process effectively giving us no chain to worry about, which suited us as we really wanted to be in a house with a garden for the summer.
Jodie in the sales office, and Connor and Simon the site managers, have been really helpful with anything we’ve needed and quick to help us out when we have identified any snags.
From our first visit Jodie has been incredible, helping us with any questions we had and even helping us decide on our flooring choices (we are both very indecisive!).

We were the first people on the Mullberry Place development, so we don’t have any neighbours yet, but we're looking forward to welcoming some in the coming months.
The site feels very safe and we have been enjoying watching the houses around us being built.
As for our favourite things about the house - Sam's is te full height fridge and freezer, while Beth's is having a home office space each, and a utility room!
