West Lothian

Looking for a new home in West Lothian?

Two of West Lothian’s great borders are with Edinburgh and the Firth of Forth. You’ll be in a great setting with a new home in this county.

Being next to Scotland’s capital city brings excellent connections, business and leisure opportunities, and West Lothian provides all these. Queensferry is the guardian of the iconic bridges across the Firth of Forth, Linlithgow made Scottish history as the birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots, and Livingston has made modern history with the largest shopping area in Scotland, giving the capital’s Princes Street a run for its money. The urbanized north alongside the Firth of Forth, merges with Edinburgh’s suburbs, putting the benefits of city life within easy reach. It’s just as easy to head west to Glasgow. Rural West Lothian comes into its own to the south, with the Pentland Hills Regional Park on the horizon to the east.

There are great road and rail connections, and Edinburgh Airport is a real asset. The M8 runs through the middle of West Lothian linking Edinburgh and Glasgow, the M9 heads to Falkirk, and the M90 crosses the Forth on its way to Perth.
