Darnley
Darnley is one of Glasgow’s southwest suburbs, and whilst it’s very much a part of this great city, it’s also midway between two of the local country parks – Pollok Country Park and the Dams to Darnley Country Park.
This well-established family-friendly residential area is just 7 miles from the city centre, and the nearby M77 will get you there in no time – you can join it at Junction 3. Darnley has a local train station too, Priesthill & Darnley, on the Kennishead Road. Regular trains into Glasgow Central take just over 15 minutes.
A new home here will be well-connected and will have a really good range of local shops and services – including Scotland’s flagship Sainsbury’s, the Silverburn Shopping Centre and the Darnley Retail Park. However, it’s being a part of Glasgow that will make all the difference. This amazing creative city is packed with things to do, whether you’re into history, culture or world food.
