Rivenhall Oaks Golf Centre and Braxted Park are to the west of Tiptree, and there are three local fishing lakes, two at Inworth Grange and one at Brookhall Lake. On the coast, the Blackwater Estuary National Nature Reserve is a wildlife haven covering 21 square miles.
