Weldon

Weldon is a village community at heart, as well as being a popular suburb of Corby just two miles away.

With two great pubs, a primary school, a local supermarket and great transport links to Corby, Northampton, Leicester, Kettering and Peterborough, it ticks plenty of boxes as the setting for your new home.

Living here

Being so close to Corby means that you have great amenities to add to your own local ones.  Corby’s Willow Place Shopping Centre has over 140 stores, cafés and restaurants, and that’s in addition to the town centre shops and the usual supermarkets. There’s a Tesco Extra and a Co-Op on the Weldon side of Corby - very convenient for your weekly shop.

Getting around

Weldon is halfway between the M1 and the A1(M), on the A43, with a network of direct A-roads making it easy to travel around the county.

Enjoying yourself

With Corby on your doorstep, you’ve got all the leisure and entertainment amenities of a large town. Corby International Pool has a 50m swimming pool as well as gym, fitness studio and golf facilities. ViRAL Entertainment in the Willows Shopping Centre is a hit with tech-savvy youngsters. Both are just off the A427 which joins the A43 Weldon road.

The Weldon Woodland Park offers 40 acres of green space as well as outdoor activities for children, with a BMX track, skateboard park and play areas. For a well-deserved drink, The Shoulder of Mutton is Weldon’s CAMRA approved craft brewery pub and you’ve also got The George Weldon, a 17th Century pub/restaurant.
