Getting around
The Lenton area of Nottingham is served by the A52 which links directly to the M1 to the east. To the Southeast the A52 crosses the River Trent and heads on to join the A46 – a key route right across the linking the M5, Evesham, Stratford-on-Avon, Coventry, Leicester, Newark-on-Trent and Lincoln.
If you don’t have a car, don’t worry, local bus services into the centre of Nottingham are frequent and quick. Nottingham Train station offers mainline services from East Midlands Railway, CrossCountry and Northern Line, with destinations across the country.
Local facilities
Lenton has a good range of local shops, supermarkets, takeaways and pubs, and with Nottingham’s city centre just one mile away, you’ll have high street brands on hand too. The Lenton Centre is the neighbourhood’s gym and leisure centre and you don’t have to go far for other options, such as the Lenton Recreation Ground, the Nottingham Tennis Centre and the David Ross Sports Village.
If you want to take things at your own pace, Wollaton Park is an amazing local open space amenity with something for all the family, as is the Highfields Park Boating Lake. For rainy days, Tenpin Nottingham and Showcase Cinema de Lux Nottingham are close to the Clifton Boulevard, one of the city’s main through routes.
University life
