The West Yorkshire city of Bradford is an ideal focal point for those looking to settle in this region. This is a location that will suit commuters to Leeds (just half an hour away) in particular, with Halifax, Huddersfield, and Wakefield within easy reach too. The city has excellent amenities and facilities, the convenience of the  A6177 ring road, and a straightforward link to the M62. There's some beautiful countryside on the doorstep too, the Pennines, between Bradford and Burnley in Lancashire.

Bradford is located just north of the M62. Leeds, Wakefield, Huddersfield and Rochdale can all be reached in well under an hour, and Manchester is just over an hour away by road. There are two train stations in the centre of Bradford – Bradford Interchange and Bradford Forster Square – which provide regular services throughout the region with connections to the rest of the country. For travel further afield Leeds Bradford Airport is just 8.5 miles away.

Bradford has welcomed a series of regeneration projects over the years, and has a bustling city centre with a wide range of national and independent retail options, restaurants, cultural and entertainment venues. These include the Broadway Shopping Centre, the indoor markets at he Kirkgate Centre, the Oastler Shopping Centre and the National Science and Media Museum and The Leisure Exchange which has a 16 screen Cineworld. 

Local schools

Bradford Grammar School, the University of Bradford, and Bradford College, are among the wide range of options for education in the city. There are six Independent Schools in the area, and several of the secondary schools have been rated 'Outstanding' and 'Good' by Ofsted. The choice of schools is a credit to this multi-cultural city.
