A short move to a new home
26 March 2019
Just six months after moving into their brand new home on a Bridgnorth housing development, the Kytes are on the move – but they are only going two doors down! The family of five loved their Charles Church home at Wenlock Rise so much, that when they needed to ‘upsize’ they couldn’t bear the thought of leaving, so simply bought a bigger house on the same road.
And thanks to the Charles Church Part Exchange Plus scheme, they were able to sell their property back to the developer while buying another Charles Church home on the development.
Homeowner Alan Kyte, 40, said: “We moved into our three bedroom house about six months ago, but found we needed to upsize.
“We love the development and have been so impressed with the house and the high quality of all its finishes, not to mention the brilliant customer care, that it just made sense to buy another property here. The Part Exchange Plus scheme took away all the uncertainty of trying to sell our house.”
Mr Kyte recently left the RAF after more than 20 years, and was looking to finally put down some roots. His wife Kelly who was also in the RAF left last year and is now in the second year of her degree, studying to be teacher.
Kelly, had family in the area and although the couple looked at other homes, they fell in love with not only the house but also with Bridgnorth.
Wenlock Rise is a development of 310 homes and the Kytes will be moving into one of just 18 properties remaining on the final leg of the development.
Charles Church West Midlands sales director, Stephen Cleveley, said: “We’re thrilled that we have been able to help the Kyte family find the home that they need on the development they love.”
Mr and Mrs Kyte, their three children and two dogs hope to move into their new home by the end of the month.
When asked if he would be hiring a removal firm to carry out the move, Mr Kyte said: “I don’t think so, I’m hoping my wonderful neighbours will pitch in!”
