Bungalow living in Denmead proving popular across the generations

02 April 2020

Bungalow living is proving popular across the generations says Charles Church as its Denmead development helps meet a shortage of this style of property in the region.

Charles Church South Coast says young people are increasingly seeing the benefits of bungalow living as this style of property appeals to all ages.

Charles Church is developing two styles of bungalow at its Carpenter’s Field development - The Anmore, a traditional two-bedroom property, and The Bere, a three-bedroom detached Chalet bungalow.

Graeme Cole, head of sales at Charles Church South Coast, said: “We feel it is unusual to find bungalows on a new-build development and believe we are meeting a need in Denmead.”

“Typically, bungalows are in high demand as they offer flexible living. One of the major attractions of a bungalow is the space they offer – they tend to have a much bigger footprint than a traditional two-storey house or even an apartment.”

“People buy bungalows for many different reasons, but we believe buyers consider the flexibility of the space and imaginative layouts when they come to choose their next home.”

A selection of homes is being built at Carpenter’s Field including two, three, four, five-bedroom homes. The Anmore offers open plan kitchen/dining/living room, while The Bere has open plan kitchen/dining room with French doors and a large master bedroom with en suite.
