Buyers are being urged not to delay if they want to live in a much-anticipated development in a Hampshire village where more than 70 per cent of the properties have sold in a matter of months.

Charles Church South Coast is building a collection of new homes at Four Marks, known for being one of the highest villages in Hampshire.

Medstead Farm, in Lapwing Way, boasts a collection of one, two, three and four-bedroom homes which are appealing to a wide cross-section of buyers, including first-time, growing families and downsizers.

Mark Docherty, sales director for Charles Church South Coast, said: “This village is incredibly sought-after as it lies within unspoilt countryside. There was a lot of anticipation surrounding our development and we are not surprised that it is selling quickly.

Four Marks has much to offer family living, with a large recreation ground only a five minute walk away from the development whilst an ‘outstanding’ primary school is also within walking distance. It is an enviable location for first-time buyers and families alike.”

Mark added that the development also offered the best of both worlds as it has good commuter links, with the A31 nearby providing quick access to Alton, Winchester and Farnham.

Prices start at £287,995 for a three-bedroom home designed with modern living in mind, with a living/dining room with French doors to the rear garden, a separate kitchen and master bedroom with en suite.

“It has never been a better time to move with schemes such as the Government-backed Help to Buy aiding people onto and up the property ladder,” Mark added.

The Government provides a 20% equity loan, which is interest and repayment free for the first five years, meaning buyers just need a 75% mortgage with a 5% deposit.

Other schemes include Home Change, which can be used in conjunction with Help to Buy, where Charles Church market your home and pay your estate agent fees. Part Exchange is also available.
