Charles Church chips in for spooktacular party

A cul-de-sac in Pontypridd had a spooky feel to it as its residents enjoyed a Halloween street party.
Children and adults living in Alexander Place, Cardiff Road, Hawthorn, dressed as witches, ghouls and vampires for the event organised by the Residents Association.
Charles Church East Wales, the house builder behind the new development, supported the party with food and drink.
In fact, there was so much that one of the residents was able to take some left over food to a nearby homeless shelter the following day.
Susan Harris, of the Residents Association, said: “We had about 60 residents at the party and everyone really enjoyed themselves.
We had pumpkin carving and fancy dress competitions with prizes, and each child had a goody bag to take home.
We’re grateful to Charles Church for their help.”
Victoria Williams, Head of Sales at Charles Church East Wales, said: “There were some fantastic costumes on display and we’re glad that everyone had a good time.
When we start work in a new area, we’re not only building new homes for people to live in, we’re creating communities.
It’s great to see residents coming together and enjoying each others company at Alexander Place.”
