Charles Church hosts Help to Buy advice day

Charles Church is holding an open day so buyers in Northampton can get free independent expert advice on how to make their next move on the property ladder.
Claire Davidson, Charles Church Midlands sales manager, explained that the Help to Buy advice day can show buyers how the scheme will make their first or next home move even easier.
She said: “Help to Buy has really given a boost to the housing market. It means people can own 100 per cent of their new home for just 80 per cent of the purchase price using the scheme.
“An Independent Financial Advisor will be on hand during the day to give expert advice and our sales team is fully trained to offer practical assistance throughout the buying process.”
Help to Buy is available to anyone buying a new-build home up to the value of £600,000. All that is needed is a five per cent deposit.
The Government will put in up to 20 per cent through an equity share loan, the remainder will be funded by a repayment mortgage. The loan can be paid back at any time over the next 25 years, or when you sell the home, and there is no interest to pay on this portion for the first five years.
The aim of Help to Buy is to assist more people across the country make the aspiration of home ownership a reality.
Marina Park, on Kent Road, offers high specification family homes from £214,995. The development is close to all the schools, shopping and leisure facilities of Northampton, as well as the village of Dustan.
