First time for FirstBuy at Bysshop Meadow
01 March 2013
First time house hunters in West Sussex will now be able to get onto the property ladder in style as Charles Church South Coast announces the launch of FirstBuy at its development in Henfield.High quality new properties in a delightful village location are offered under the FirstBuy government equity loan scheme for the first time at Bysshop Meadow.
Rob Allen, sales director for Charles Church South Coast, said: “FirstBuy will enable new entrants to the housing market to get the keys to their first home without compromising on quality, with prices starting at just £199,960*.
“The scheme is specifically designed to help first time buyers into home ownership without having to raise a hefty deposit.”
Under the new scheme the buyer is only required to raise a five per cent deposit and a 75 per cent mortgage. The government and house builder will each provide an equity loan for the remaining 20 per cent of the property. Once purchased, 100% of the home is owned by the buyer and there is zero interest to pay on the equity loan for the first five years.
In the first round of funding, thousands of people were helped onto the property ladder and in this second round, a further £280 million is being invested by the Government.
Rob added: “Bysshop Meadow offers stylish, comfortable homes in an idyllic village setting, just a short drive from the coast. Charles Church has created an exclusive range of one, two, three, and four bedroom luxury house styles close to Henfield village centre.”
The development is within walking distance of the village centre but also has excellent links to Brighton just 12 miles away, Gatwick Airport and London.
