FirstBuy will assist Cirencenster house hunters with houses for sale in Cirencester
05 October 2011
Determined to step onto the property ladder but are concerned that you don’t have enough funds to do so? Heard the word FirstBuy but don’t completely understand what the new home moving scheme is all about?
If so, you need to pay a visit to Charles Church’s Corinium Via development off London Road in Cirencester where the Government-funded FirstBuy scheme is currently available.
Pauline Fletcher, sales director for Charles Church Wessex, is confident the initiative will help local househunters. She said: “We are fully supportive of this new Government-funded scheme. With FirstBuy, buyers searching for homes for sale in Cirencester only need to raise a five per cent which means getting a foothold on the property ladder is an affordable reality.
“The expertise of our sales executives in helping people apply for, and buy through Government funded equity loan schemes such as HomeBuy Direct historically followed by this new FirstBuy scheme is second to none; across the Group, we have helped over 2,000 purchasers to buy their first home with the previous Government-supported scheme and we are expecting FirstBuy, which is currently available at Corinium via, to be just as successful.”
FirstBuy is offered through equity loan funding of up to 20 per cent of the purchase price split equally between the Homes and Communities Agency and Charles Church, with purchasers being required to raise funding (a mortgage plus deposit) of at least 80 per cent of the purchase price.
Pauline concludes: “We are already selling properties for 2012 completions at Corinium Via so anyone interested in finding out how FirstBuy could assist them are recommended to speak to our friendly, experienced sales executives sooner rather than later to find out how we can help them find – and move into – the home of their dreams.”
