House builder supports charity fundraiser with 'brick' donation
15 November 2013
Charles Church South West is giving Bishop’s Hull School a helping hand by donating two giant boxes of Lego to its charity raffle.
The Taunton house builder has made the donation as pupils hold a Children in Need disco on Friday 15th November from 6pm. The event is being organised by the school’s PTA and any money raised from the raffle will be split between the children’s charity and the Philippines Disaster Relief Fund. Any other funds raised will go to the school and Children in Need.
The event organisers are delighted to have the backing of the house builder as Claire Meredith, treasurer of the PTA at Bishop’s Hull School, explains: “A huge thanks to Charles Church for their generosity. It’s so important to put on events like this and I know the children are hoping to raise lots of money on the night.
“We’re expecting around 215 children to attend the fundraiser where there will be a whole host of games and entertainment including a dancing and limbo competition, tuck shop and disco shop.”
Nina Hester, sales and marketing director for Charles Church South West, said: “We were only too pleased to help out when we heard of Claire’s appeal. As one of Taunton’s largest house builders it’s important that we support the local community and hope these prizes raise much-needed funds for both Children in Need and the Philippines Disaster Relief Fund.”
Charles Church Kinglake is an exclusive development of three and four-bedroom homes located on the outskirts of Taunton. Prices start from £189,995 with schemes such as Help to Buy and Part Exchange available to help people move.
