Standish location drives customers to The Links
23 July 2020
A bespoke development of new build homes by Charles Church in the sought-after village of Standish proved popular with discerning house-hunters from its very launch.
Three, four and five-bedroom new build properties at The Links were quickly reserved, and now just a handful of homes remain in this first phase of the development.
Sales advisor Charlotte Abbott said the popularity of the development can be put down to two simple factors: location and the quality of the properties.
Charlotte, who has been in the business of selling houses for 32 years, said: “We’ve noticed that the majority of our customers here at The Links are local people, who have jumped at the opportunity to live in Standish – considered to be one of the nicest areas of Wigan.”
“We’ve seen fewer first-time buyers than on our other developments; the smaller, 3-bed homes were snapped up almost straight away, with many customers utilising our part exchange scheme.”
“Our homes are well-designed for modern living with a mixture of beautiful designed Charles Church house types to suit everyone.”
The Links is conveniently located between the towns of Wigan, Middlebrook and Chorley, which are only a short drive away and provide a large range of shops and amenities. Standish itself is a bustling village and home to St Wilfred’s Church, the only Grade I listed building in the borough. The old stocks are still in situ in the Market Square! Easy access to the motorway network and an excellent choice of quality schools nearby contribute to the demand for new homes at The Links.
The beautiful Compton show home - a large, detached family property – has a luxurious, contemporary feel, decorated throughout in rich grey, gold and bronze.
Charlotte added: “This has been a wonderful development to work on, with so many happy customers. I can’t wait for the next phase to be released so that we can welcome even more people to our jewel in Wigan’s crown.”
