Successful launch for city centre homes
13 January 2014
A new homes development, transforming an unused site in the centre of Norwich, is proving popular with local house hunters – before the show home has even opened.
Brazen Plain is a range of apartments and townhouses, being created in the heart of the city by premium house builder Charles Church Anglia.
Head of sales and marketing Alison Page, said: “We expected Brazen Plain to receive a warm response, because our neighbouring development at Fellowes Plain has been an incredible success. But even taking that into consideration, we’ve been pleasantly surprised by the feedback from potential buyers.
“So far three properties have been reserved off-plan, with people taking advantage of pre-show home prices, the chance to snap up their pick of the plots and to tailor their home to suit their individual taste.
“The combination of contemporary design, energy-efficient building standards and a fantastic city centre location makes Brazen Plain a great proposition for young professionals and older down sizers who want to be close to the action.”
The development, on Brazen Gate, includes two bedroom apartments and four bedroom houses, with parking and public open space, priced from £148,950*.
The site was previously a car park for Aviva and is in a prime location, close to all the shopping, leisure and entertainment facilities of Norwich, making it ideal for anyone who works in the city or commutes by rail to London, Ipswich or Cambridge.
Alison added: “Brazen Plain is a great example of brownfield development, where we breathe new life into a redundant site, transforming it into beautiful homes for local people.
“And there really has never been a better time to buy. The Government’s Help to Buy Scheme scheme enables people to purchase their dream home with just a five per cent deposit and, if you have an existing property to sell, we can help with our Home Change or Part Exchange packages.
