Top Industry Award for Norwich New Homes

21 October 2013

A prestigious new homes development in Norwich, already named as ‘Development of the Year’ has scooped a further accolade in the 2013 Sunday Times British Homes Build Quality Awards.

Wentworth Gardens, created by premium builder Charles Church, won in the Medium Development category of the national awards, recognised as the highest industry honours for design innovation and construction quality.

This latest achievement follows on from a Local Authority Building Control (LABC) Awards for Excellence for Wentworth Gardens, presented to site manager Paul Tull earlier this year.

Andrew Fuller, managing director of Charles Church Anglia, said: “The British Homes Awards are the most prestigious industry prizes, so we are absolutely thrilled to have received this recognition for the hard work, talent and dedication of our professional team.

“Everyone at Charles Church is focused on delivering homes that are built to the highest standards and designed to suit the needs of their specific local community.

“Wentworth Gardens has been an enormously popular site, in a great location close to Norwich city centre.”

The 2013 Sunday Times British Homes Awards, sponsored by Homebase, were presented at the London Marriott, Grosvenor Square by Paul Finch OBE, chair of CABE at the Design Council on Friday 18th October.

The annual design competition rewards innovation and technical quality in the construction industry, with a focus on meeting the needs of homebuyers.

The awards comprise 13 categories for design excellence and six categories in the British Homes Build Quality Awards which recognise and endorse completed schemes that best achieve the creative aspirations of the architect.

Just one five bedroom home remains at Wentworth Gardens – a ‘Carnoustie’ style traditional detached property with spacious living accommodation including a large lounge, study, dining room, breakfast kitchen and utility room, available for £344,950*.
