Wheelbarrow loads of help with houses for sale in North Bersted

The grounds of South Bersted C of E School will soon look ‘bloomin’ lovely’ thanks to a donation from a local housebuilder.
Five and six year old children from South Bersted C of E School on Church Lane are currently working on a wheelbarrow garden as part of this year’s Bognor in Bloom competition. When Charles Church, the developer behind Willows Edge, the nearby houses for sale in North Bersted, heard that the School was missing one crucial element – a wheelbarrow – they dug deep and presented the school with a brand new shiny model for them to use as a planter.
Sandy Osman, community co-ordinator at the School, said: “The children love spending time outdoors and getting involved in the creation of the wheelbarrow garden is going to add an extra dimension to their learning so we are grateful to Charles Church for their kind donation.”
In addition to the wheelbarrow, Charles Church also donated £200 worth of book tokens to help grow the school library.
