While it enjoys a peaceful riverside location and abundant nature nearby, Lydney has plenty to offer by way of services and amenities. The town centre is home to a number of pubs, cafes and independent shops, as well as a bank, community centre, pharmacy, dentist and GP. There are Tesco and Lidl supermarkets, plus a local hospital – all within walking distance of Manor Grove.

If you’re travelling by road, the A48 is the main road link between Chepstow and Gloucester, which in turn link to the M4 and M5, providing access to South Wales, Bristol and north towards the Midlands.
